Distress your cabinets to balance out a bold shade. To achieve this vintage blue, a blackened umber glaze was applied to the cabinets, then painted over with a turquoise glaze. Buffing, stippling, and scraping complete the timeworn look.
The handcrafted cabinet doors of this Japanese-style kitchen cleverly slide open instead of swinging out, taking up less room. Clear glass fronts can show off your dinnerware. Add a rolling ladder and you can access the top shelves way easier.
In the kitchen of this renovated spec home, natural light complements the custom cerused oak kitchen cabinetry with custom brass detailing. Circular pendant lights from Lambert & Fils provide contrast and bring out streaks of black in the marble countertops and backsplash from Marble America in New Rochelle, New York. The stools were sourced from CB2, and the appliances, Wolf.
